The Ritz-Carlton’s Lounge & Bar has launched a new organic salad bar featuring African cuisine.
The bar, dubbed Out of Africa, offers limited-edition organic coffee and dishes that won’t compromise patrons’ summer fitness goals. Guests can also enjoy the extravagant decor of the bar – a luxurious lounge ceilinged with crystal chandeliers.
Other items at the bar include organic greens, nutritious toppings and condiments, daily soup, homemade bread, hot dishes and desserts.
African-infused salads and condiments – including spicy Ethiopian red lentil stew, beetroot salad with red onion and spicy potato stew with kidney beans – will also be served on rotation from mid-August to mid-October.
Guests can enjoy complimentary Rooibus tea with calendula petals and lemongrass. For coffee fanatics, single-origin coffee from Ethiopia is available at a low cost.
African specialties aside, the bar also offers a selection of organic vegetables and greens including butterhead lettuce, baby spinach and watercress.
To cater to diners with different food preferences, a variety of meat dishes are also served.
